Mary J. Ralston

Mary Jule Ralston, age 81, of Owensboro passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born on January 30, 1931 in Danville Illinois to the late Austin and Edith "Wright" Claypool.

Aside from her loving parents Jule was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Darr.

She leaves behind 4 loving children; Jenny Kruger of South Bend IN, Judy Kercheval ( Jack) of Sullivan IL, Steve Ralston ( Diane) of Decatur IL and David Ralston ( Ann) of Owensboro KY. She also is survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren along with numerous relatives and friends.

A native of Marshall Illinois, Jule received her Masters Degree from Eastern Illinois University and worked as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor for twenty years. She was a longtime antique collector and enjoyed attending auctions. In her final years Jule attended Owensboro Christian Church.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Clarksville Cemetery in Marshall IL. A gathering of friends will be held from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall IL.
