Mary Eva Roberts Pennewell, 61, of Anderson, Indiana, formerly of Owensboro, passed away September 14, 2017. Mary was born March 27, 1956 in Owensboro, KY to David Clifton and Geneva Roberts.
Mary was a graduate of Owensboro High and worked at Owensboro Mercy Hospital Lab for several years before becoming a full-time homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially grandchildren, and traveling in an R.V. Mary also loved her fur baby, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her father and a grandchild, Brooks Ashley.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Ronald Pennewell; daughters, Melissa Ashley (John) of Trenton, TN and Jamie Sparks (Zachary Quarles) of Owensboro; her mother, Geneva Roberts of Owensboro; step-daughters, Nicole Pennewell and Danielle Gallagher (Charles), both of Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren, David (Alisha) Ashley, Genna Ashley, Jamison Robinson, Zayden Quarles, Brody Gallagher, Aliza Gallagher, and Teresa Ring; a great-grandchild, Amaleigh Ashley; brothers, Larry Roberts (Debbie) of Owensboro, Dave Roberts of Paris, TN and Ronnie "Tank" Roberts of Owensboro; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The service will be 12 Noon, Monday, September 18 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation from 9:30 AM until Noon Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Jerry Dalton will officiate. Ennichement will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
