Mary Sue Tomblinson Parish

Mary Sue Tomblinson Parish, 79, of 530 Yale Place, Owensboro, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003, at St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born October 10, 1923, to Ernie and Valeria Cobb Tomblinson, in Ashbyburg, KY. She was the owner of the parts department for Dunville-Parish Chrysler Dealership. She was a member of First Christian Church a
nd the Friday Duplicate Bridge Club of Owensboro. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Parish Hina, who died August 28, 1982.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Edward Parish, Sr., son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Nannette Parish, Jr., of Owensboro, daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mike Detenber, of Louisville, and daughter Cynthia Parish of Owensboro, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Friday, at Glenn Funeral Home, with burial in Oddfellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY. Visitation will be from 2:00 till 8:00 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wendell Fosters Campus, P.O.
