Mary Kathryn Osborne

Mary K. Osborne, 92, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Owensboro Center. She was born on March 14, 1921 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Harold and Erma Head Schweikarth. Mary was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She had previously worked at General Electric. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delma Osborne on April 3, 1993, a stepson, Danny Osborne, and brothers and sisters, Daryl Schweikarth, Maxel Schweikarth, Maxey Schweikarth, Jake Schweikarth, Hugh Schweikarth, Thelma Hale, Madelyn Holmes, and Juanita Schweikarth.

Surviving are her daughter, Betty Osborne of Owensboro, her son, Gary Osborne and wife Patty of Owensboro, her stepdaughters, Peggy Hinkle of Winslow, IN and Bonnie Smith and husband Tom of Madisonville, a granddaughter, Heather Lacy of Owensboro, and nieces, Wanda Chandler and husband David and JoAnn Smeathers and husband Pete, all of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 8 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 8:30 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
