Mary Sue Newton, 76, of Owensboro, passed away December 27, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born in Daviess Co., March 31, 1941 to the late Bernard and Isabelle Gaddis Everly, Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed her time spent with family. Mary's children were her life and she strived to make sure they were loved and always supported them. She enjoyed watching cartoons, getting her hair and nails done and was one to never miss a birthday. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Yewell Newton; son, Ronald Clark; brother, James Everly and sister, Dorothy Holt.
She is survived by daughters, Denise Myers (Ron), Angela Bindert (Keith), Kay Wilkerson (John); sons, David Clark (Sandy) and Richard Clark; twelve grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Bolin and Joann Everly and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
