Mary Wanda Wheeler Mattingly

Mary Wanda Wheeler Mattingly, 85, of Wellington Parc, died there, Monday, February 15, 2010. She was a native of Daviess County, born October 8, 1924 to the late Francis Xavier and Mary Stella (Medley) Wheeler. Mrs. Mattingly was a homemaker who had previously worked at General Electric. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh G. Mattingly, sisters, Bernice Rosa and Dorothy Field, and brothers, Vincent and Francis Wheeler.

Surviving are nephews and nieces, Larry (Linda) Field and Jan (Don) Crask both of Owensboro, Karen (Gene) Mattingly of Louisville, KY., Stephen W. (Dena) Wheeler of Forsythe, GA., and Dr. Deborah Rosa (Dr. John Flanigan) of Phoenixville, PA.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Vistation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
