Mary Beverly Reynolds Mattingly

Mary Beverly Reynolds Mattingly, 94, of 1205 Leitchfield Rd, Owensboro, died Thursday, February 20, 2003 at the Leisure Years Nursing Home. The Daviess County native was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital and in private practice and member of the Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and her pets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Mattingly in 1980 and a son, Delbert Louis Mattingly in 1972 and daughter, Mary Lou Mattingly in 1947.

She is survived by a son, William (Bill) Mattingly of Owensboro; two daughters, Shelby Wells and Maxine Turner both of Owensboro; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 38 great-great grandchildren; a brother, James Reynolds of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:00 P.M Sunday, February 23, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-6 P.M. on Saturday, February 22 and after 12 noon on Sunday. Prayers will be said at 6 P.M. on Saturday.
