Mary Lou Mattingly

Mary Lou Mattingly, 88, of Owensboro, died Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Medco Nursing Home in Henderson. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was a member of SS. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Her husband, Ed Mattingly, preceded her in death in 1980; as well as her brothers, Spalding and Guy Connor.
Surviving are her children; Charles Mattingly, Mary Ann (Mike) King, Johnnie, Tony and Gene Mattingly, all of Owensboro, and Joyce Mattingly of Nashville, Tn. and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Stanley.
