Mary Magdalene Ranney Luck

Mary Magdalene Ranney Luck, 98, of 2431 Bolivar St., Owensboro, KY, died Sunday, January 9, 2005, at her home. She was born July 17, 1906, to the late Charles W. and Mary Arbuckle Ranney in Ohio County. She was a retired seamstress, a homemaker and was a member of Owensboro Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling, going out to eat and listening to Lawrence Welk music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edgar Fuzz Luck in 1962, and a daughter, Clematis Luck in 1925.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice Luck Postlewaite, and Mary Ida Luck, both of Owensboro; two grandsons, Jim Postlewaite and his wife Tina, and Mike Postlewaite and his wife Annette, all of Owensboro, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; one nephew, Charles Ranney and one niece, Guynell Carman.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 10:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
