Mary Loretta Payne

Mary Loretta Payne, 83, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday August 31, 2024, at Signature Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was born June 23, 1941, in Owensboro, to the late M. Leslie Payne and Mary Lou Henning Payne.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William Earl Payne.

Mary is survived by two brothers, Joseph Hershal (Ann) Payne of Maceo, and Thomas A. (Mary) Payne of Owensboro; nieces and nephews, Joseph Richard (Kim) Payne of Maceo, Elizabeth (Todd) Brumley of Maceo, Mary Joyce (BJ) Stigal of Philpot, and Rachel M. (John) Bruno of Utica; and a great-nephew, Blake Higdon of Louisville. 

The funeral service for Mary Payne will be at 10 a.m. Saturday September 7, 2024, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Hawesville.
