Sister Mary Ann Krampe, 91, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph, Maple Mount, KY, died Saturday, July 6, 2002 at the Mount Saint Joseph Motherhouse. She was in her 71st year of religious life.
The Brown's Valley native taught in Mary Carrico School, Knottsville, St. Elizabeth School, Curdsville, St. Joseph School, Central City, Hardinsburg, Clarkson, Flaherty, Shively, Louisville, Paducah, Clementsville, Bardwell, Raywick, Jeffersontown, New Haven and Howardstown, all in Kentucky, and in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. She retired to the Motherhouse in 1980.
Survivors include nieces and nephews and the members of her religious community.
Services are at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at Mount Saint Joseph Chapel, Maple Mount, KY. Burial will be in the Convent Cemetery. Visitation is after 4 P.M., Monday, July 8, 2002 at the Mount Saint Joseph Chapel. A wake service will be held at 6:30 P.M., also in the chapel.
Gitfs in memory of Sr. Krampe may take the form of donations to the ministries of the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph, 8001 Cummings Rd., Maple Mount, KY 42356.
