Mary Frances Newbolt King, 81, of 2033 Wimbledon Court, died Monday, September 13, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Daviess County, KY, a daughter of the late Roy and Julia Newton Newbolt, she was a founding member of the Riverside and St. Andrew Presbyterian Churches, having taught Sunday school for over 25 years, later attended First Presbyterian Church, and retired from General Electric, after which she served as a volunteer at Owensboro City Hall and the Green River Teaching Center. A loving and caring mother, her three loves were her faith, her family, and her friends. Mrs. King enjoyed caring for others and working with her hands at quilting, painting, sewing, gardening, and other crafts. She made a mean gravy, awesome cherry delight, and a sensational chocolate pie. Her husband, P.J. King, Jr. preceded her in death in 1995.

King III and his wife Hilda, of Apopka, FL, her daughter, Nancy King Schmeal and her husband Charles of Owensboro, her grandchildren, Jamie Schmeal Wellman of Nashville, TN, Kellie Schmeal of Owensboro, James Jay King of Margate, FL and Mitzi King Toxey, of Apopka, FL, her great-grand children, Thomas King, Georgia Mary King, and Michael Toxey, all of Florida, and her brother, R.W.
