Mary Jane Kelley

Mary Jane Tomer Kelley, 67, of Owensboro (formerly of Louisville) passed away Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born July 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Pearl and Alice Tomer; most recently worked at Mills Drug Store and had previously worked at Berthhold-Grigsby Florist, Even Steven, and at Walden Books; was an avid Louisville Cardinal basketball fan and enjoyed reading, and especially traveling with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kelley.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Angel Peacock of Owensboro; grandchildren, Jared Peacock and Ali Peacock of Owensboro; a brother, Jack Tomer of Owensboro; niece and nephew, Stephanie Calero of Daytona Beach, Fl and Derek and Traycie Tomer of Owensboro; great-nephew, Paxton Tomer of Owensboro; and several cousins in the Greenville area.

Services are 12 Noon Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Westmoreland officiating followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 P.M. on Monday and after 10 A.M. on Tuesday.
