Mary Allene Keller

Mary Allene Blandford Keller, 87, of 2501 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Carmel Home. The Daviess County native was born to the late M.A. and Juliette (Osborne) Alvey. She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral, and retired from Medley Distillery in June 1985. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George L. Blandford on February 10, 1983, and two daughters, Judy Marie Blandford in 1950, and Carol Faye Medley in 2006, and a sister, Martine Goetz.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Leon Keller of Owensboro, sons, G. Edward Blandford and wife Judy of Owensboro, and Darrell G. Blandford of Austin, Texas, daughters, Shirley Ann Wink and husband Maurice of Owensboro, and Betty Joyce Crowe and husband Bob of Bowling Green, sisters, Nancy Witmeyer of Sacramento, California, and Frances Dant of Owensboro, and step-children, Judy Davidson of North Carolina, Dr. Leon Keller Jr. of California, and Karl Keller of South Carolina, 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at St. Stephen Cathedral with Fr. Ray Goetz officiating. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday with prayers at 7:00 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Tuesday until 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be given to the Carmel Home, or the Passionist Monastary at Whitesville.
