Mary E. Johnson

Mary E. Johnson, 71, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010, at her home. She was born November 20, 1938 to the late Theodore and Myrtle Smith Clark in Ohio County. She had worked as a waitress at the Am-Vets and the VFW.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff Johnson of Owensboro, and Shawn Johnson of Florence, AL; three grandchildren, Barbara, Matthew and Bradley; her sisters, Anna Mae (E.T.) Jones of Olaton, Doris Jean (Ernest) Bartlett of Philpot, Mildred (Phillip "Stub") Ford of Horse Branch, Fay (Charlie) Means of Owensboro, and Lola (Dwight) Goodall of Beaver Dam; several nieces and nephews.

Services and visitation will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Mary Johnson, c/o Fay Means, 3155 Adams Ct., Owensboro, KY 42303.
