Mary Heaverin Jenkins

February 18, 1915 — March 10, 2005

Mary Naomi Heaverin Jenkins , 90, of 530 Yale Place, Roosevelt House II, Owensboro went to be with our Lord after a long illness on Thursday, March 10, 2005. She was born February 18, 1915 to the late Nettie Ellen Keeton and Isadore Heaverin in Leithchfield, Kentucky. She was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church, worked for many years at the Remnant House in Owensboro, and enjoyed being a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.N. Jenkins Sr., four siblings, Juanita Keeton, Agnes Krawinkle, Paul Heaverin, and Isadore Heaverin Jr.,

Survivors include two sons, L.N. Jenkins Jr. of North Carolina, Philip H. Jenkins, of Lewisport and a daughter, Sally Richardson of Lewisport, twelve grandchildren, several great grandchil dren, one great great grandchild, a brother, Kenneth Keeton of Florida, two sisters, Dorothy Keeton Hindman of Russellville, and Mae Heaverin McGrew of Fordsville.

Funeral services will be held, 11 A.M. Monday, March 14, 2005 at Lewis Lane Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at Glenn Funeral Home, and after 9 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Lewis Lane Baptist Church Recreation Center. Online expressions of sympathy may be left at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
