Mary Alice Jackson, 87, of Owensboro, died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Owensboro Place. She was born May 25, 1922 to the late Melvin and Mabel Neubauer Vance in Daviess County.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gray Jackson, and a brother, Marion Vance.
Survivors include two grandchildren; her sisters, Thelma Anderson of Owensboro, and Betty Ann Cundiff of Dalton, GA; one brother, Roy Vance of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services and visitation will be private. Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Seven Hills Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 1709 Alexander Ave., Owensboro, KY 42303.
