Mrs. Mary Louise Hamilton Hodskins, 87, of Philpot, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Wellington Parc. Louise was born October 14, 1923, in Daviess County to the late John D. and Mary (Byrnes) Hamilton. She attended St. Mary Magdalene Elementary and Maple Mount Academy. She was a homemaker and did volunteer work at Catholic churches and schools where her children attended. She was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jim Hodskins, four sons; Michael of Owensboro, David of Burlingame, CA., Roger of Leominster, MA., and Steven of Arlington, VA. 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a sister in law, Patty Hamilton of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m .Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. with prayers at 5:00 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be left at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
