Mary R. Hendricks

Mary R. Doodle Hendricks, 73, of 1000 Pennbrooke, Owensboro, Ky., died Friday, July 4, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.The Daviess County native was the daughter of the late William and Ruth Dugger Noe. She enjoyed working in her small flower garden and taking care of her companion, Bear. A son, Fred Hendricks Jr. preceded her in death on May 2, 1969. She is survived by three sons, John W. Hendricks, Mark A. Hendricks,and Timothy L. Hendricks, all of Owensboro, five daughters, Charlotte Hendricks-Dukes of Princeton, Kentucky, Barbara A. Hendricks-Madewell, and Freda D. Hendricks, both of Owensboro, Marie M. Hendricks-Emery of Collierville, Tennessee, and M. Pauline Almon of Herndon, Kentucky, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-greatgrandchild,and her puppy, Bear. Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Tommy Tackett of Northside Baptist Church, Princeton, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m Sunday, and after 9 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
