Mary Ruth Guier

Mary Ruth Guier, 89, of 2941 Plymouth Place, Owensboro, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born June 19, 1917 to the late Joseph and Naomi Delaney Andrus in Graves County. She was a member of Thurston United Methodist Church and was a faithful homemaker to her family.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leron, Perry and Ardell Andrus, and her sisters, Lettie Morris and JoNell Collins.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, R. Dell Guier; her son, David Guier and his wife, Carolyn Sue of Woodlands, TX; her daughter, Kay Roby and her husband, William L. of Whitesville; four grandchildren, Aaron and Daniel Guier, Kelly and her husband, Rich Gammon and Shawn Libs; three step-grandchildren, Father Brian Roby, Christy Reed and Mike Roby; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Nicole Howard, Jacob Howard, Corey and Logan Libs; one step-great-grandchild, Kiera Gammon.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday and after 9:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
