Mary Francis Batsel Green

Mary Francis Batsel Green passed away on Sat. August 7, 2010. Mary was born on May 9, 1918, the daughter of the late Edmund Eli Batsel and Mabel Annie Carlisle Batsel. Mary received a Bachelor's degree from Kentucky Western Teachers' College and a Master's degree from Kentucky Western University. Mary retired after teaching high school mathematics for over 30 years.

Three children survive Mary Frances Green: James Michael Green of Owensboro, Patricia Green Sharpton of Georgia, and Linda Katherine Green Coffer of California. Mary had four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A sister, Annette Batsel Clark of Owensboro, and a brother, Edmund Eli Batsel Jr. of Nashville, TN, also survive her. Two sisters and her parents preceded her in death.

The Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, 900 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, KY 42303.. The Memorial Service will be held at 9 a.m. Sat. August 14, 2010 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Cemetery will follow.
