Mary Helen Graham

Mary Helen Graham, 68, of Lewisport, died Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born December 1, 1940, to the late Louis and Ada Lancaster Baker in Muhlenberg County. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church and the Laureate Upsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma PHI. She enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, gardening and going bowling with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Graham on February 29, 2008, and a brother, Robert Baker.

Survivors include a son, Jay D. Graham and his wife, Nita of Hawesville, her daughters, Stacy Ann Karney and Marilee Thurby, both of Owensboro, and Emily Ann Graham of Hawesville; five grandchildren, Chris Graham, Cynthia Ward, Jacob Graham, Johnathan Jackson, Tyler Parker, and MiKayla Waninger; a sister, Myrtie Miller of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, and after 10:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
