Mary E. Gish, 72, of 806 E. 19th. St., Owensboro, passed away on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 at Hermitage Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late John Jacob & Matilda Jane Fulkerson Yeackering. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, quilting, and collecting clocks. She also enjoyed talking on the C.B. radio and was known as Lady Hard Head on the radio. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Gish in February 2004 and her son, Tony Angel on March 26, 2003.
Surviving is her daughter, Wanda Walker of Owensboro, four grandchildren, Michelle Howard and her fiancichael Horn, Donnie Walker, Mandy Angel, and Bryan Angel, all of Owensboro, and two great grandchildren, Charles Walker and Chase Boling, and several nieces & nephews.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, Sept. 18 at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
