Mary Helen Fenwick

Mary Helen Fenwick, 87, of Heritage Place, Owensboro, formerly of Roosevelt House II, died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. The Henderson County native, born to Ira Joseph Tom Brown and Emily Elizabeth Bessie Roby Brown. Mary Helen was a loving mother, homemaker, and a member of Sorgho Baptist Church. Her husband Wilbur Bill Fenwick preceded her in death October 10, 1976.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Bob and Sissy Fenwick of Jeffersonville, IN, daughters and sons in law, Barbara and Ron Nelson of Bowling Green, KY, and Carol and Larry Hayden of Utica, seven grandchildren, Kerry Nelson, of Overland Park, KA, Shelley Nelson of Lexington, Stacy Carol Cook of Cross Plains, TN, Mary Hadley Elkin of Brentwood, TN, Charlie Hayden of Utica, Matthew Logsdon of Louisville, and Beth Lash of Bowling Green, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sorgho Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 and after 1:00 p.m. Thursday.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Resident Council of Roosevelt House II, or the Salvation Army.
