Mary Ann Mason Endsley, 80, of Owensboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday June 28, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family that loved her dearly, while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born October 6, 1944, in Atlanta, TX to the late Jewel R. Mason and Inez Rhea Mason. Mary Ann was a strong prayer warrior, passionately reading her bible every single day. She and her husband James were members of First Baptist Church of Owensboro for 20 years. She worked in the Banking Industry for 30 plus years then started up Endsley’s Auto Sales with her husband, James. She also enjoyed cooking and was known for her secretly guarded recipe of her delicious chocolate pie.
Mary Ann always had a smile on her face and took great joy in helping others. She was always there to help her family in whatever way she could. She was a great example of a Proverbs 31 Woman.
Family was her life, but nothing was more dear to her than being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, “Little Ones” as she affectionately referred to them. Being their “Den-Den” was a huge joy of her life.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Wayne Endsley.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Tammy (Doug) Dodson and Jewel “Bubba” Endsley; grandchildren, Kraton Dodson, Taylor (Cortney) Dodson, Davis Dodson, Hayden Endsley, Carli Endsley, Coltin Endsley, and Aydriaunna Endsley; great-grandchildren, Dexton Dodson, Endsley Dodson, and Sonny Dodson; siblings, Shirley Pitts and Jerri (Joel) Steger both from Atlanta, TX; many nieces and a nephew; and several great nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mary Ann Endsley will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 5, 2025, in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, 23465 State Hwy 237, Doddridge, AR 71834. All are welcome.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Mary Ann’s caregivers who showed her and her family so much love and compassion, they are Lucy, Tina, Trish, Shelly, Addie, Joyce, and Mary.
