Mary L. Embry

Mary L. Embry, 76, of Owensboro, died December 14, 2005 at her residence. Born May 16, 1929 in Daviess Co. to the late James H. Burns and Essie Pendleton, she was a member of Garden Green Baptist Church, enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved working in her flower garden.
Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Ira Embry, her three sons and daughters-in-law, Ira and Marlene Embry, Jr. of Stanley, Wayne and Sandy Embry of Owensboro, James and Nora Embry of Stanley, her four daughters and sons-in-law, Patty Clark of Owensboro, Alice Berry of Owensboro, Pam and Rev. Kevin Green of Stanley, Betty and Roy Barnett of Maceo, twenty five grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Milton Hadden and Rev. Kevin Green officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
