Mary Suzetta Ebelhar

Mary Suzetta Ebelhar, 85, of 5645 Kentucky 81, Owensboro, died Sunday, March 18, 2001 at the Carmel Home. Born in Daviess County, Kentucky on December 6, 1916, she was the daughter of late Erle A. Mulligan and Corin Riney Mulligan. Her husband, Bernard F. Ebelhar, died in September 1992.

Mrs. Ebelhar was a retired teacher and a member of Saint Martin Catholic Church in Rome. She also was a member of Altar Society, Army of Mary, Family of the Sons and Daughters of Mary, The Oblate-Patriots and St. Martins Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Mrs. Ebelhar enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include two brothers, William Mulligan and John M. Mulligan, both of Owensboro; six sisters, Geraldine Simmons, Marian Mattingly, Frances OBryan , Ruth Ann Hardy, Martha Jean Kauffeld and Mary Jane Alexander, all of Owensboro; and several nephews and nieces.

Services are at noon Wednesday at Saint Martin Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation is from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Army of Mary prayers will be said at 6:00 p.m., and parish prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
