Mary Elizabeth Denning

Mary Elizabeth Libby Denning, 75, of 1740 South Griffith Avenue, Owensboro, died Saturday, February 2, 2002, in the Hillcrest Healthcare Center. The Daviess County native was a member of Settle United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, H.C. Denning of Owensboro; a daughter, Deborah Denning of Owensboro; a brother, Richard Dick Gatewood of Deland, Florida; a sister, Margaurita White of Beaver Dam, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro. Visitation is on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro. Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of donations to the Opportunity Center, 731 Jackson Street, Owensboro, Kentucky, 42301.
