Mary Monica DCruz

Sister Mary Monica DCruz, 79, Sisters of the Lamb of God, Owensboro, died Monday, December 6, 2004 at the Carmel Home. Born December 19, 1924 in Nairobi, Kenya, Sister DCruz joined the Order of the Poor Clares in June 1951 in Dhaka, Bangladesh and then the Sisters of the Lamb of God in Brest, France in 1986. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dhaka University in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

She is survived by two sisters, Teresa Richard and Rosland DCruz both of whom live in France; and a brother, Peter DCruz of Canada in addition to her faith family.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Immaculate Catholic Church with burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Carmel Home from 4-8 P.M. on Wednesday where prayers will be said at 7:30 P.M. Visitation on Thursday prior to the service will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 9-9:30 A.M.
