Mary A. Davis

Mary A. Davis, 97, of Utica, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Hermitage Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 3, 1919 in Warren Co., IN to the late Russell and Maud Branch Smith. Mary was a homemaker, but was a cook and waitress for many years in various restaurants. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing bingo and working crossword puzzles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Davis.

Surviving are her children, Charles Ivan "Chuck" Mabrey and wife Joyce of Thruston and Rosalie Troutman of Utica, five grandchildren, Charles Ray "Chuckie" Mabrey and wife Ursula of Philpot, Charity Lynn DeHart and husband Tommy of Owensboro, Alpha Gene Troutman of Louisville, Debbie Troutman and Patricia Sutherland and husband Ricky of Utica, 12 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 7, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 8:30 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
