Mary Eva Custer

Mary Eva Custer, 20 months, of 4125 Rudy Martin Drive, Owensboro, died Friday, March 20, 2009 at Owensboro Medical Health System.

Mary liked to talk on the phone, and loved food. She liked being clean, having her face rubbed, riding on a motorcycle, and playing with babies.


Surviving are her mother and step-father; Eva Bickett-Hocker and Joseph Hocker, father; Matt Custer, and her caregiver parents; Sam Bickett and Crystal Pewett, all of Owensboro, grandparents; Sam Bickett of Owensboro, Anita Bickett of Evansville, IN., and Kathy Barrows of Owensboro, sisters; Katelynn Custer, Kenara Johnson, Khyren Johnson and Savannah Bickett, and uncles; Jospeh Bickett, Aaron and Terrance Cates, and her auntie Kristal,all of Owensboro, as well as several other relatives, and her best friends, Kaylee Cooper, Kami Gallagher, Olivia and Robbie Haws. She was preceded in death by a grandfather; James P. Custer.


Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev.Vernon Hocker officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
