Mary B. Crady

Mary Belle Fuqua Crady, 97, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Owensboro Center. She was born November 17, 1917 in Pleasant Ridge to the late Cleatus M. and Susie F. Moore Fuqua. Mary was retired from Citizens State Bank after 26 years having worked her way from teller to Assistant Vice President and Branch Bank Manager. After retirement, she volunteered at the Hospital in the Chaplain's office for several years. She was a past member of the Owensboro Women's Club, past president of the Altrusa Club, and was a KY Colonel. She taught Sunday School for over 50 years starting at Bethabara Baptist Church and then at Hall Street Baptist Church where she was currently a member. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy L. Crady on January 10, 1998, a brother, J. C. Fuqua, and a sister, Addie L. Cross.

She is survived by her two sons, Donald L. Crady of Louisville and John C. (Jean) Crady of Owensboro, two brothers, Walker L. (Lois) Fuqua of Owensboro and David A. (Mattie) Fuqua of Hixson, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday, November 5, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
