Mary Bernice Conkwright

Mary Bernice Kennedy Conkwright, 81, of Owensboro passed away May 2006 at her home. Born in Daviess County on April 13, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Rose Lee Kizer Kennedy. She was a retired Nursing Home Aide; member of the Marshall County Homemakers, Senior Citizens and AMVETS; and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Conkwright and two sons Rex Lee Conkwright and James H. Conkwright.
She is survived by sons and daughters in-law, Charles and Marjorie Conkwright of Paducah and Douglas Long of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are 12:30 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2006 at Peace Chapel, Rosehill Cemetery with Rev. William Roberts officiating. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 10 to 12 Noon.
