Mary N. Cline

Mary Nell Cline, 82, of Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Mrs. Cline was born on November 19, 1933 in Island, Kentucky to the late John and Selma Davis Greenlee. She had worked at the GE plant and the Cigar Factory in Owensboro but spent most of her life as a homemaker. Mrs. Cline was a simple and plain woman who loved to crotchet, work word puzzles and was especially fond of professional wrestling. Mrs. Cline was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Leslie Cline and a brother, C.W. Greenlee. She is survived by her son, Barry Cline of Hawesville; a sister, Betty Jo Devin and her husband Marion of Owensboro; four grandchildren; nieces and a nephew. A graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 28 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery officiated by Pastor Kenny Stone. Arrangements are being handled by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
