Mary Lois Stone Clark, 82, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 4, 1923 in Muhlenberg County, Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Charlie Dan and Mary Maude Jarvis Stone. She was a homemaker and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Gossett.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, James L. Clark; sons, Jimmy (and his wife Betty Jo) Davis of Lewisport and Gary ( and his partner Bruce) Davis of Woodridge, IL; daughters, Patty (and her husband Larry) Cornette of Greenville and Beverly (and her husband Freddie) Penrod of Central City; step-sons, Larry (and his wife Beverly) Clark of Lewisport, Terry (and his wife Debra) Clark and Randy Clark of Owensboro; step-daughters, Debra Burden and Connie Clark of Owensboro; 26 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maebell Stone of Greenville.
Services are 11:30 A.M. Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev.Scott Ford officiating followed by entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. Wednesday and after 9 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
