Mary Lou Baily Cheek

Mary Lou Baily Cheek, 78, of 2702 East Fourth Street, Owensboro, Kentucky died Saturday, May 11, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health Systems. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Mr. J. Glenn Cheek.

She was retired from the A&P Supermarket in 1979 after 28 years. She was a member of Whitesville Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star Leitchfield Lodge #26 since 1956, she was a Past Matron, White Shrine of Jerusalem Lodge # 2 since 1969, Owensboro Senior Citizens, Owensboro Daviess County Homemakers and Short Creek/Grayson County Homemakers.

She is survived by two sons, David G. Creek and Marshall R. Creek both of Owensboro, one daughter, Cynthia L. Cheek of Louisville, Kentucky, Five grandchildren, Six Great-Grandchildren and one brother J.D. Baily of Owensboro.

There is not any visitation. Services will be in Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2002. Entombment will follow.
