Mary Ruth Braden

Mary Ruth Braden, 77, of 1869 State Route, 762, Whitesville, Ky, died April 26, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Ohio County to the late Walter and Lillie Mae Foster Barlow. She was retired from Ohio County Schools and was a former employee of Kenrad. She was a member of Bells Run Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Alvah Braden in 1986, and two sons, Gary Braden in 1951 and Kenneth Braden in 1987.
She is survived by sons, Alvey Braden, Stephen Braden, and Jerry Braden, all of Whitesville, and daughters, Ruth Ann Hendricks of Owensboro, and Cathy Benningfield of Whitesville, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three brothers, Jackie Barlow and Harvey Barlow, both of Indiana, and Ronnie Barlow of Leitchfield, and a sister,Clara Mae Church of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bells Run Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday 9 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Bells Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
