Mary Helen Bove

Mary Helen Bove, 89, of Kissimmee, FL, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013. She was born on November 24, 1923, in Owensboro, KY, to the late Herbert and Ada Frances Cissel Wathen. She was a kind and loving person, and had a special zest for life. She loved to garden, dance, socialize with friends in her church and she went on many senior trips. She was a loyal member of the H2U senior friends and the Osceola Mall Walkers.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Allen Dean Mackey and Warren Bove; and brothers and sisters, Myrtle Hagan, Bill Wathen, Charlie Wathen, Harvey M. Wathen, Sr., and Bobby Wathen.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Jay (Dianne) Mackey of Utica, Ann M. (Alan) Powers of Utica, Mary M. (Eddie) Elliott of Owensboro, Ruth Ann Wathen and Ernie Wathen of Houston, TX, Greg (Dana) Howard, Tonya Sutton, and Bonnie English; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Wathen of Owensboro; a special friend, Peter Rakauskas; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Christ Chapel in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
