Mary Frances Bickett

Mary Frances Leibfreid Bickett, 94, of Owensboro, passed away December 19, 2015 at the Owensboro Center. She was born August 3, 1921 in Daviess Co. to the late Jacob and Jessie Gertrude Settles Leibfreid. Mary Frances was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church and was retired from General Electric after 35 years of service. She always enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Raymond Bickett on November 2, 1971, a brother, Norman Leibfreid, and a sister, Lucy Mae Clayton.

Surviving are two sons, Jack Bickett of Buckeye, AZ and Raymond "Junior" Bickett, Jr. of Hartford, five grandchildren, several great grandchildren, a brother, Sonny Leibfreid of Bowling Green, and a sister, Nancy Wright of Louisville.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 23, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday with prayers at 6:30 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
