Mary Bridget Hinsey Bell

Mary Bridget Hinsey Bell, 87, formerly of Rockport, IN, died Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at Bon Harbor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Cloverport, Kentucky on March 15, 1915 the daughter of Charles Bernard and Mary Rose Blincoe Hinsey. Her husband, Herschel T. Bell, preceded her in death on February 26, 1997.

Mrs. Bell retired from Modern Welding Co. as a custodian. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport. She enjoyed gardening, canning and talking on citizens band radio.

Survivors include a son, Charles E. Eddie Bell of Owensboro; a daughter, Doris Jean Ward of Utica; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, J. W. Hinsey of Evansville; and two sisters, Beatrice Lowdermilk of Louisville, Ohio and Margaret Emerson of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Thurman Harris and Father Leonard Reisz. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Prayers will be said at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
