Mary Denise Bartlett

Mrs. Mary Denise Bartlett, age 62 of Philpot, passed away at her residence on October 14, 2015; She was born on July 22, 1953 to the late Norman Hayden and Betty (Sublett) Crowder.

Denise was a fighter. Her powerful, independent spirit denied physical limitations to live full out - with passion, fierce protectiveness and love. She did it her way and died peacefully at home, surrounded by messages of love from her husband, Ed, and each of her three children.

Denise is survived by her husband: Edgar Lee "Ed" Bartlett of Philpot. They were married on March 27, 1993. Also survived by one son: Paul Rone of Louisville, two daughters: Heather Rone of Owensboro, Lindsey (Josh) Stone of Owensboro, grandchildren: Hayden Free of Louisville, Jayde Rone, Alana Rone, Isaiah Stone, Aiden Stone all of Owensboro, sisters: Debbie (Cary Colman) Sheperis of St. Louis, Vickie (Dean) Sipes of Owensboro, Cathy (Mike) Menchise of Owensboro, brothers: Jimmy (Kim) Hayden of Owensboro, Phil (Cheri) Hayden of Owensboro, Keith (Melissa) Hayden of Owensboro, Ronnie (Kim) Hayden of Philpot.

Memorial Services will be Saturday at 12pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with Bro. Alan Shouse officiating, visitation Saturday from 10am - 12pm.
