Mary Lois Coomes Aud

Mary Lois Coomes Aud, 83, of Owensboro went to be with the lord on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 (after a lengthy battle with cancer). Mary Lois was born on April 19, 1931 to the late Ivo and Ethel Payne Coomes.

Mary Lois was a graduate of St. Marys of the Woods High School and a member of St. Stephens Cathedral Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Michael Aud, in September 1985. Survivors include six children, Tricia (Mark) Mullins of Chattanooga, Tennesse, Karen Aud, David Aud, Janice (Jeff) McCarthy, Becky (Robin) Roberts, and Ricky Aud of Owensboro. Six grandchildren, Lori (Jared) Bridges of Woodbridge, VA, Scott (Tiffiny) Mullins of Sylvania, Ohio, Jennifer Goetz, Lindsey McCarthy of Owensboro, Ky, Adam McCarthy of Lexington, Ky and Casey McCarthy of Owensboro. Seven great-grandchildren and one brother, Bertrand Coomes of Philpot, Ky.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at St. Williams Catholic Church in Knottsville. Burial at St. Williams Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation at Glenn Funeral Home, Friday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The family request expressions of sympathy be in donation to Hospice Heartford House.
