Mary Catherine Doudican Adams

Mary Catherine Doudican Adams, 89, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Owensboro Center. She was born in Danville, Illinois as the only child of the late Thomas E. and Catherine Butcher Doudican.
Ms. Adams was a longtime member of St. Stephen Cathedral.
She was an avid reader, loved music, dancing, Broadway Plays and volunteered at the Riverpark Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Kay Lyons of Louisville and Ann Reynolds Wilson of Owensboro; her son, Thomas L. Adams of Oakland, CA; twelve grandchildren, Dawn Lyons-Taylor (Michael), Sean Lyons, Amy Lyons, Thomas Early, Timothy Lyons (Julie), Beau Lyons (Jennifer), Mary Reynolds Adams (Ryan), Brian Lyons, Cory Lyons, Nathan Lyons, Katherine Lyons Lanzone (Andrew) and Jordan Lyons; twelve great-grandchildren; and former son-in-law, Robert E. "Bob" Lyons.
The funeral mass will be at 12 Noon Tuesday, March 22 at St. Stephen Cathedral with burial at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3-7 PM, with prayers at 6 PM, and after 10 AM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
