Marvin C. Beloat

October 13, 1922 — June 28, 2003

Marvin C. Beloat, 80, of Owensboro, died Saturday, June 28, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a retired truck driver for Bennett Beloat Trucking. He was a member of the St. John United Methodist Church and enjoyed UK basketball and NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kaye Beloat in 1967.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Martine Carmon Beloat; two sisters, Martha Jo Gordon of Owensboro and Marian Faye Baker of Anderson, IN. and his dog, Shelly.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Monday, June 30, 2003 and after 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 1, 2003.
