Marvel L. McCumber
June 19, 1922 — May 20, 2002
Mrs. Marvel L. McCumber, 79, of 927 Dixiana Drive, Owensboro, died Monday, May 20, 2002 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born in Fulton, New York on July 19, 1922 the daughter of Stanley and Hazel Bassett Austic. Her husband, Earl Mac McCumber, preceded her in death on August 27, 2001.
Mrs. McCumber worked at Classic Dress Shop in Fulton, NY. She was a member of State Street Methodist Church in Fulton. She enjoyed bowling, crafts and NASCAR.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam Fleischmann of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home, officiated by Father Richard Meredith. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Her family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
