Marty W. Robbins

Marty W. Robbins, 35, of 4630 Iron Circle Drive, Owensboro died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on February 19, 1967 the son of Roy Sam and Edna Short Robbins. His son, Justin Robbins, preceded him in death on September 29, 1994.

He was employed at Alcoa Aluminum where he worked in the pot room. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Sublett Robbins; one son, Seth Robbins; one daughter, Coty Robbins; his parents, Sam and Edna Robbins; four brothers, Steve Robbins, Roger Robbins, James Robbins and Keith Robbins all of Owensboro; six nieces and one great-niece.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Dr. Ross Bauscher. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2002 and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
