Martine H. Lansden

Martine H. Lansden, 76, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Wellington Parc. Born in Hopkins County on June 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Arvel and Emmalene Hobgood and was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church; and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis Lansden on March 6, 2011.

Surviving are her children, Lanny (and Gayle) Lansden of Wright, WY, Lonnie (and Rita) Lansden of Charleston, WV and Lisa (and David) Ryan of Owensboro; grandchildren, Tyler Lansden, Jill Lansden, Shannon Jones, Christopher Jones, Jennifer Lansden, Jordan Zuccarell, John David Ryan, and Amy Ryan; and brothers, Morris (and Gale) Hobgood of Texas and Bill (and Kaye) Hobgood of Evansville.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Tim McGuire officiating followed by burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday and after 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
