Martin Ray "Bill" Goetz, 71, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Professional Care in Hartford, KY with his sister by his side. He was born in Daviess County to the late Leonard and Catherine P. Goetz.
Martin Ray was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. In spite of his limited abilities, Martin Ray enjoyed being around people and listening to the radio.
He is survived by a sister, Linda Goetz Vowels of Owensboro; brothers, Jerry L. Goetz (Kathy)of Newburgh, IN and Michael W. Goetz (Doris) of Owensboro; nieces, Tina Troutman (Don) and Jeri Lynn McCarthy (Kenny); nephews, Jason Goetz and Jeremy Vowels, all of Owensboro; 7 great nieces; and 4 great nephews.
A private service will be held. Entombment will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
