Martha Faye Wilson

Martha Faye (Logsdon) Wilson, age 66, of Owensboro, passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends on Monday, September 11, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Wilson was born August 6, 1951 in Daviess County to the late Martin and Betty Boarman Logsdon. Martha loved spending time with her family, playing cards, taking short trips, and relaxing in quiet moments. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed the company of others.

Mrs. Wilson also was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Schartung.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 25 years, Rusty Wilson; daughter, Cheryl Gatton and husband Joseph of Owensboro; son, Sam Cross and wife Christi of Paris, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, Joe and Savannah Gatton, Ryan, Madison, Jay, Nathan, Matthew, Emma, and Sam Cross; eight siblings, Larry Logsdon (Patsy), Tony Logsdon (Nancy), Norman Logsdon, Darrell Logsdon (Pattie), Barbara Caton (Mike), Marty Logsdon (Vickie), Becky Puffenbarger (Joe), and David Logsdon; sisters-in-law, Robin Guckert and Becky White; several nieces and nephews.

The service will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father Tony Jones officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
