Martha Lee Magruder Survant

Martha Magruder Survant, 89, of Owensboro, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in McLean County, a daughter of the late Noel and Anastasia Hall Magruder, she retired from the Owensboro School System, where she was an assistant to the librarian at Owensboro High School. She was a member of Third Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Surviving are three sons, Joe (and his wife Jeannie) Survant of Bowling Green, Bruce Survant of City by the Sea, TX, and Victor Survant of Hendersonville, TN; 7 grandchildren, Anastasia Survant Krygiel of Lexington, Alexandra Survant of Bowling Green, Judy Survant Schulz and Corey Survant of Corpus Christi, TX, Jay Wesley Survant of Houston, Elizabeth Paige Survant and Amy Victoria Survant of Madison, TN; and two great-grandsons, Skylar and Ian Schulz of Corpus Christi.

Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral home, where visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the memorial fund of Third Baptist Church.
